Bio: Sarah Blodgett is comedy’s Funny Honey.
The winner of Chicago’s Snubfest 2010, Sarah was The Comedy Studio’s Comic-In-Residence in October 2009, and has appeared on Comcast On-Demand. Sarah was a finalist in 2010’s Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival competing against some of New England’s finest comics, and has performed as part of the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and the NC Comedy Arts Festival, and was a finalist in Catch a New Rising Star’s comedy contest. She was even a finalist in the Funniest Comic in New Hampshire Contest, and is not even from New Hampshire.
Based in Boston, Sarah performs stand-up comedy throughout the US, and is a regular at the comedy clubs in New England. Sarah’s unique form of self-involved humor is a tell-it-like-it-is story of her own life experiences, as she manages to carefully hide her intelligent observations behind her bubbly, blonde personality.
A writer as well, Sarah’s humor essays have been featured in The Comedians magazine, and her jokes have been published in Reader’s Digest.
This Funny Honey is also an actress, performing in award winning independent films and community theater. She received rave reviews for her portrayal of Girl in the North Quincy Community Theater’s production of “Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect.” Sarah even competed as the only stand-up comic in the 2006 Miss Massachusetts Pageant.
