Bio: Matthew is a veteran to the stage but a newcomer to improvisational comedy. Some of his credits include Emcee (Cabaret), Jaime (The Last 5 Years), Tom (Glass Menagerie), Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz), and starring in the three-person comedy, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged.
He is currently pursuing a teaching certificate in secondary education with a specialization in English. He just completed a production of RENT with Encore Rep, taking on the role of the ever moody guitar player, Roger.
Matt’s high-paced and fearless energy brings a new element to the Bit Players that can only be described as unpredictable. Often mistaken for the lead character, Frodo from the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy, Matt brings the “precious” to every Bit performance.
