Kitty Litter

Hometown: Providence

aka: Stephen Hartley

Bio: Miss Kitty Litter is a 7-foot drag queen and the self-proclaimed First Lady of Providence. It’s hard to miss Kitty, who is often seen at a variety of charity events, begging for money – for the charities, of course.

Kitty has been featured in The Providence Journal, Rhode Island Monthly, Providence Monthly, Out at Night, The Providence Phoenix and Out Magazine. She has also been on television numerous times – always for a good cause.

Kitty was awarded The Pyramid of Pride Award, The Red Ribbon Award, and is a Partner in Philanthropy. Kitty Litter’s motto is: “I give till it hurts.”  She expects the same from everyone else. Over the last 20 years, Kitty has helped raise over a million dollars for local charities.

Over the last few years, Kitty has become known in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for her comedy drag shows at the Rhode Island Comedy Connection, Chan’s, the Stadium Theater, and many other venues. Her interaction with the audience makes each show unique and sometimes uncontrollable. Kitty’s show are not for the shy or upper-crust – she has the mouth of a sailor and loves to make fun of everyone in the audience.
