Bio: Frank O’Donnell has been performing and writing comedy since the early 1980s, earning his spot as one of Rhode Island’s best known and most well respected comedians.

He has performed at comedy clubs and colleges throughout the United States, and written material for such distinguished performers as Jay Leno and the late Bob Hope.

He’s the house comic at Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club in Lincoln, RI, and has been the opener for acts like Chicago, Michael Bolton, Kathy Mattea and The Harlem Globetrotters. His Comedy Boot Camp has produced some of the hottest new comics in southern New England. He’s traveled the country as the comic play-by-play announcer for the Hollywood Hotshots, and has hosted his own television and radio shows.

He’s a newspaper humor columnist – his Unreliable Sources column appears every other week in the North Providence Breeze. He covers the entertainment beat for The Valley Breeze in northern Rhode Island. His new political humor column - Frank O’Donnell’s BROKEN NEWS – debuted on 630WPRO.com in June, 2011.

His talents are in great demand for private functions – bachelor parties, milestone birthday parties, fundraisers, political roasts and corporate events.
