WICKED LATE with BRENDAN KIRBY has been a late night/comedy fixture on the airwaves of the Ocean State since its premiere and has featured a who’s who of Rhode Island talent as guests during its time on the air.
Host Brendan Kirby has welcomed a variety of guests, including:
- Dan Jaehnig, Frank Coletta and Barbara Morse-Silva of NBC 10;
- Erin Kennedy, Patrick Little, Tony Petrarca, and Karen Adams from WPRI/FOX Providence;
- Dan Yorke from WPRO-AM 630;

- Dr. Tim Warren (the only Rhode Islander to climb Mt. Everest);
- singers/songwriters Phil Ayoub, Greg Lato, and Jessie Liam & Jack Gauthier;

- comedians Frank O’Donnell, Brian Beaudoin, and Mike Murray;

- and many more interesting individuals.
WICKED LATE with BRENDAN KIRBY was launched in the fall of 2003 as an independent study project at Rhode Island College, and is currently in its eighth season producing original comedy content. The show follows the standard late night comedy/talk show format with a topical joke monologue, desk comedy pieces, and an interview with a local celebrity guest.
WICKED LATE with BRENDAN KIRBY airs Sunday nights at 10:30PM on Rhode Island’s Cox 13 and Verizon 32.
